The Beaton Agency History |
The Beaton Agency has served the insurance needs of Oxford
and the surrounding areas for over 70 years. We pride ourselves
on excellent customer service and are thrilled that many
generations of clients have
had entrusted us to protect their investments. We are proud to say that
the majority of our new clients come from referrals. It means a great
deal to us that our customers respect us enough to refer their friends
and family to our agency.
We are an independent insurance agency operating under licenses in both
Ohio and
Indiana.
Being an independent agent gives us the ability to select the most
appropriate coverages or policies for your situation. We currently
represent 13 companies and have access to many other markets. We offer a
full range of insurance services including, Personal Lines (home, auto,
umbrella, watercraft, motorcycle), Business Insurance, Bonds, Life and
Health, Farm, Crop & Classic Car Insurance.
Beaton Insurance Agency is owned and operated by Holly Bruder. Our
agency was founded in 1938 by James “Harry” Beaton, who ran the business
until his death in 1964. At that time the business was taken over by
Harry’s son John “Jack” Beaton, who ran and owned the business until
1991 when he then sold the agency to his son Jim Beaton.
Holly Bruder bought the agency in 2004 and continues to serve the
larger community of Oxford and Butler County.
